I am Associate Professor in Statistics at the School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

My theoretical research interests are Bayesian probability theory, Bayesian non-parametric methods, (Skew) Gaussian processes, Bayesian optimisation, probabilistic machine learning, preference learning, time-series and dynamical systems. Another part of my research focuses on foundation of (imprecise) probability theory, quantum information theory and quantum computation.

I develop computational tools that bridge machine-learning/statistical theory and practice.  I apply this in areas such as smart manufacturing, renewable energy production forecasting, finance, and social sciences.
